In the show ring with my second hog chosen to stay for further judging.
During round robin my hog was tired and wanted to lay down on me because he has been worked all morning in the heat.
Smiling at the camera bracing my lamb and making sure he and I are looking good.
Picture taken from facebook of my Rhode Island Reds as babies
This is my tea cup pot belly pig, Tilly and I. I got her in the summer of 2012 and she will be 2 in May. I enjoy spending time with her and teaching her new tricks. She is a great pet and she is house trained. I grew up with my older brother showing pigs for FFA and my freshman and sophomore year I showed pigs as well. I grew very fond of having pigs around the house and taking care of them. They have such great personalities and I had to further my happiness with having a permanent pet pig. I absolutely love her, and I now know more about pigs than I ever thought I would.
Shearing my second lamb with my first lamb waiting for her turn and keeping the other one calm.
Through my years in the FFA I have learned many different things. Not only with my SAE but with leadership conferences too. With my SAE I have learned how to manage my money and work efficiently and use my time wisely. With leadership conferences I have learned to not be a follower and lead to the best of my ability. I classify FFA as part of my life that will stick with me forever.
Here I am bottle feeding a young calf. For some reason the cow did not want to take it right away so we had to bottle feed it.
Practicing walking by my side for fair all the way around the pen three times.
Me taking the blade off of my mower.
In the show ring with my second hog looking at the judge making sure he has a good view of my hog.
Here is a picture of just a few chickens outside free roaming and picking for food. We let them out everyday to free range.
Showing my lamb in the show ring pushing up against my lamb making sure she is pushing back.
This picture is of me about to go and feed the chickens. I am carrying the feed in an old ice cream bucket. I usually feed them once a day and also have them free range.
